This accelerator pedal linkage upgrade kit from Buttys Bits for VW Bay window 69-72 right hand drive converts your throttle pedal from a worn vague on/off switch to a smooth progressive control and transforms the drive ability of your bus.

This is a must have upgrade for your Bay window replacing the tired, worn and rusted original linkage system with a more positive feeling pedal linkage.
The kit consists of: A laser cut 5mm steel replacement pivoting linkage complete with sealed ball bearing swivel section Upgraded linkage from the pedal with bolted rose joints Rose jointed link rod return spring & mounting hardware When bolting the end of your throttle cable to the linkage, tighten then undo by a half turn to allow the cable to rotate freely.
Use the supplied return spring if the kit is being used with a standard carburetor. Twin carburetors will have their own return springs which are stronger than stock springs.
