This all new highly engineered intake system uses a smooth one-piece housing that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. A unique filter-to-housing interface (US PAT 9440175) enables the use of the largest filter possible while maintaining a hassle-free installation with fewer components.The CAD designed high quality plastic intake tube is designed to optimize airflow, outflowing the factory intake by up to 26%. This intake also includes a unique air scoop that directs cool ambient air from behind the front main grille directly to the filter.Improving airflow further is a large 9” tall inverted top washable/reusable conical air filter. The air filter frame is constructed using a100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. This direct bolt-on system requires no modifications and includes necessary hardware for a hassle-free installation.
