12V Wiper Motor for VW Beetle (1970–1979)

Description

12 volt Windscreen Wiper Motor for flat screen 1300-1500cc models with column mounted switch and 1200 deluxe models from 1976 on.
Not 1303 or standard 1200cc models.

For:
Beetle 1970-1979

Fitment: The original wiring colours/terminal is as follows: 53a black/grey 31b or 53e green 53b black/yellow 31 brown 53 black.
For new motors with mixed coloured wiring The red wire is the earth wire / terminal 31, the green wire is the slow speed / terminal 53, the yellow wire is the fast speed / terminal 53b, the black wire is park / terminal 53a and the white wire is the park link / terminal 31b/53e.
For new motors with blue wiring The black wire is the earth wire / terminal 31, the blue/white wire is the slow speed / terminal 53, the blue/red wire is the fast speed / terminal 53b, the plain blue wire is park / terminal 53a and the blue/black wire is the park link / terminal 31b/53e.
